The SHEPODY corn and pellet snack solution can use a flexible batch fryer for recipe changes and smaller runs, or a continuous double-mesh fryer for stable, higher-volume production. The process is selected around product shape, expansion behavior, coating, moisture and daily production plan.

Reference batch sizes are 20, 30 and 50 kg per batch. A continuous automatic frying line typically covers 300-1000 kg/h. These values use different capacity bases and must not be compared without the batch cycle and finished-output definition.

Recommended line configuration

  • Soaking or product preparation when required
  • Dewatering and controlled feeding
  • Batch or double-mesh continuous frying
  • Surface-oil removal and air cooling
  • Oil spraying, powder seasoning or combined flavor dosing
  • Automatic weighing and packing connection

A Turkish corn-snack project used soaking, dewatering, frying, oil removal, oil spraying, powder seasoning, cooling and packing. Tortilla and pellet products require their own upstream preparation and frying recipe.
