Fryer Temperature Control System
OVERVIEW

Product Overview

The SHEPODY fryer temperature control system coordinates temperature sensing, heat-output modulation and conveyor speed through a centralized PLC touchscreen. It can be configured for a single frying zone or for independently monitored zones on compatible continuous fryers.

Each control package is matched to the fryer, heating source and operating recipe. Sensor type, number of zones, control range, alarm limits, VFD scope and communication interface are confirmed before manufacture, especially for retrofit projects.

Typical Control Scope

  • PLC touchscreen for setpoints, status and recipe operation.
  • Temperature sensors and transmitters for each selected zone.
  • Modulating heat-output commands and VFD coordination.
  • High-temperature, sensor-fault and flow-status alarms.
  • Interlocks for conveyors, pumps and the selected heating system.
PROCESSING FLOW

How the Process Works

Each stage is configured around the equipment, selected utilities and production requirements.

  • Temperature & Level Sensing
  • PLC Comparison
  • Heating Output Modulation
  • Pump and Belt-speed Coordination
  • Alarm & Safety Interlock
  • Recipe Record
KEY FEATURES

Designed for Consistent, Efficient Frying

Practical engineering details that keep quality stable and operating costs under control.

Centralized PLC Operation

A touchscreen brings temperature setpoints, operating status and alarms into one control interface

Multi-Zone Capability

Compatible continuous fryers can use separate sensing and control loops across selected frying sections

Recipe Coordination

Temperature and belt speed can be set together for repeatable product residence time and process conditions

Alarm and Interlock Logic

High temperature, sensor fault, pump status and conveyor conditions can be included in the safety sequence

Retrofit Engineering

Existing fryers can be assessed for new sensors, actuators, VFDs and control-panel integration

TECHNICAL PARAMETERS

Specifications for Initial Selection

The values below support initial equipment selection. Final capacity, dimensions and utility requirements are confirmed for your product, process and site conditions.

Capacity / Sizing BasisConfigured to fryer zones, sensors and conveyor controls
Operating MethodClosed-loop temperature, belt-speed and alarm control
MaterialIndustrial control enclosure with stainless sensor interfaces, project-confirmed
ControlPLC touchscreen with recipe settings, VFD coordination and safety alarms
VoltageCustomized to local power supply
Selection NotesTypical fryer-control functions include PLC touchscreen operation, automatic temperature control, variable-frequency mesh-belt speed adjustment, oil-level alarms, pump and conveyor coordination, and optional multi-zone heating control. A 0-300 C controller setpoint range is available on the reference continuous fryer, but this is not the recommended operating range for every food. The number of zones, sensor type, working setpoints, control tolerance, VFD quantity, alarm thresholds, recipe storage, communication protocol, enclosure rating and panel dimensions are selected for each project and verified against the fryer, heating source and local electrical standard.

What We Need to Configure Your Equipment

Please share your raw material and finished product, target output and whether it is based on raw input or finished product, available workshop length, width and height, local power and fuel conditions, and the required automation and packing scope.

After the order and final configuration are confirmed, we provide the project-specific layout, installation and connection drawings needed for implementation. Detailed engineering drawings are supplied for confirmed projects rather than published online.

APPLICATIONS

Suitable Foods and Applications

Frying temperature, residence time and product handling are set for the recipe and target finished product.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about configuring and operating this equipment.

Yes. The PLC can coordinate temperature setpoints with belt-speed VFD control so residence time and heat input are managed from one interface.

Yes, when the fryer and heating arrangement support independent zones. The number of sensors and control loops is confirmed during engineering.

Recipe settings can be included for product-specific temperature and conveyor parameters. The number of recipes and access levels are agreed with the control scope.

A retrofit may be possible after assessing the existing sensors, heaters or burner controls, motors, panel wiring, safety circuit and available installation space.

Please provide the fryer drawing, heating method, number of zones, motor list, local electrical standard, required alarms, preferred interface language and any communication requirements.

Yes. Capacity and layout are engineered around your product, target output, available workshop dimensions, heating source, local utilities and required automation. The listed capacity ranges support initial selection and are not fixed limits.

Yes. After the order and final equipment configuration are confirmed, our engineers provide the project-specific layout, installation and connection drawings required for implementation.
